Facebook Connect for iPhone
Facebook launched Facebook connect for iPhone today. Facebook Connect easily lets developers make their websites and desktop applications more social. And with the explosion of iPhone apps over the last year, we want iPhone developers to reap all the benefits Facebook provides
Facebook Extends Ubiquity
Facebook is not sitting on the sidelines as Twitter explodes in popularity, perchance leaving it in the dust. At SXSW Dave Morin focused on the recent changes to real-time user home pages ... giving Facebook a more Twitter-like feel in my opinion. But this appears to have been only the first volley, Facebook Connect has come to the iPhone. The cool factor here is that users can not connect with the Facebook network while using their favorite apps!
Give Facebook Connect a test drive with Whrrl, a location-aware application which makes it easier to stay connected with your Facebook friends.
But it doesn't stop there! No! Seesmic has released the first desktop client for Facebook which works much like Twhirl.

Let the Voyage of Discovery Begin ...
This blog will chronicle the voyage of discover that I take in developing applications for FaceBook. My expectation is that there are already a lot of people doing application development for FaceBook, and that I will be a late comer to the party.
However, having taken this voyage a number of times in the past I appreciate (in hindsight) the learning curve. My motivation for journaling my voyage this time is to afford others the opportunity to follow in my footsteps ... perhaps it will make their journey shorter.
Welcome to the beginning ... hopes are high! I'm bright eyed and optimistic. Let's get started.
